Sparks are Unlaced's in-app currency. You spend them on photos, videos, creating characters, voice and a few other extras.
Where they come from
Your membership. Every membership includes Sparks when you join and more every month. See How does my monthly Sparks allowance work?

Voice: voice messages and calls.
Stories.
The full list is in What costs Sparks? The cost of anything you generate is shown on the button before you press it.
Checking your balance
Your balance is shown in the menu, on your Account page and on the Membership page.
If something fails
If a generation fails, times out or is blocked by moderation, its Sparks go straight back to your balance. See Why did my generation fail?
