What costs Sparks?

Everything that uses Sparks, and how much: images, videos, characters, chat, voice and Stories.

Here's everything that uses Sparks, and how much. The cost is always shown on the button before you confirm, so you're never charged more than you see.

Images

  • Create Image: 6 Sparks per image, on both Muse and Morph.

  • Edit Image: 6 Sparks per edit.

Making several at once? Each image in a batch is charged separately.

Videos

Videos are priced per second, so the cost depends on the model, the length and the resolution.

  • Standard (720p): 4 Sparks per second. A 5-second clip is 20 Sparks, and a 15-second clip is 60.

  • Ultra: 16 Sparks per second at 480p, 32 at 720p, or 64 at 1080p. A 5-second clip at 720p is 160 Sparks.

  • Extend Video: 6 Sparks per second at 480p, or 12 at 720p. Adding 5 seconds at 480p is 30 Sparks.

Characters

  • Creating a character: 4 Sparks.

  • Regenerating their portrait: 4 Sparks each time.

Chat

  • Members: messages are free and unlimited.

  • Without a membership: 1 Spark per message. New accounts get 25 Sparks to start.

Voice

  • Voice messages: 1 Spark for every 330 characters, rounded up. Your first two are free.

  • Voice calls: charged by how much is actually said, so short exchanges cost very little.

Stories

Each section of a story costs 4 Sparks.

What doesn't cost Sparks

  • Browsing and chatting with characters (within your plan's allowance).

  • Failed, timed-out or blocked generations. The Sparks are refunded automatically.
